MS-GIST Degree Requirements

The MSGIST is a 3 semester, 30 graduate credit hour program. The masters degree is offered as one of two options: 1) in person during weekday evenings at the University of Arizona main campus in Tucson or 2) as a completely online (self-paced) option.  New cohorts for the in-person degree option begin once a year in January concluding in December.  The online degree opens a new class every Spring (January) and Fall (August) semester.

COURSE INFORMATION

No credits can be transferred from other courses or programs to substitute for the requirements of the MSGIST.

Students must complete three sequential semesters of coursework totaling 30 graduate credit hours. 

For students who start in Spring (in-person and online); students will graduate in December
