MS-GIST online course schedule

The online MS-GIST program admits students twice a year, with cohorts starting the program in the Spring term (January) and the fall term (August) every year.  The program typically requires 2 years to complete, with students taking two classes per term and concluding with a semester-long Master's project.

Some students with prior experience in GIS may consider accelerating their coursework in order to complete the program in 1 year. This requires doubling up on coursework, which entails ~36-48 hours of course-related work per week. This is not a good option for students with jobs or other time-intensive responsibilities.
