Benjamin Schaub is heading to Washington D.C. to work with ESRI

Benjamin Schaub graduated from the Masters of Science in Geographic Information Systems Technology (MS-GIST) program in 2011.  Prior to coming to the program Ben had never taken a course in GIS.  Ben is the founder of Project Swim International a nonprofit that sends volunteers to India and Nepal to teach water safety.  To date, the nonprofit has taught over 12,500 people to swim.  Ben recently was hired by ESRI as a Consultant / Project Manager in their Professional Services Division in Washington, D.C.  He is responsible for managing small scale (under $100k) service projects.  Because of his background working in non-governental nonprofit agencies (NGO), ESRI plans to make him the D.C. office’s NGO point of contact later this year.
