Cesar Duran, an alumi of the MS-GIST program in 2012,  has a job With Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Cooperative with a start date of February 26th. Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Cooperative is a non-profit, member-owned distribution cooperative providing electricity to more than 53,000 services over some 4,059 miles of energized line. Located in southeastern Arizona, the cooperative’s service territory covers parts of Cochise, Graham, Pima and Santa Cruz Counties.  Cesar will be a GIS Analyst with duties of maintaining electric facilities and land basemap information for all geographic areas. Futher responsiblities include auditing as-built records from work orders and maintenance systems to ensure GIS contains the most current representation of the electric network. Assign unique numbers, verify field inspections, and support mobile GIS users. Using export/import tools, provide expertise in data management and minimizing errors.
