GIST Annual Reception, 1/13, 6pm-9pm

Jan. 5, 2016

Please join us as we welcome the new MS-GIST cohort for 2016 on January 13, 2016 from 6pm to 9pm.  This annual event marks more than just a starting point for the new class, it serves as an opportunity for new students to meet alumni, friends of the program, and the Tucson GIS community as a whole.  Come network at this evening social held at a special new venue: the Environment & Natural Resources 2 (ENR2) Building.  Join us in “The Canyon” for complimentary hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and classy GIS company.

The ENR2 Canyon is located East of Park Avenue and North of 6th Street.  We will meet in the Agnese Haury Lecture Hall (S107, southwest corner of building) at 6pm. Following initial remarks, we will move to the 4th floor of the canyon to the School of Geography of Development where hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served, including alcoholic as well as non-alcoholic beverages. Feel free to roam the awesome architecture that is the ENR2 Building while striking up conversations with professionals, graduates, and students in the southern Arizona GIS community.
Parking is easily accessed via the surface lot immediately south of the ENR2 Building (free after 5pm, “South of 6th Surface Lot) or in the 6th Street Parking Garage east of the ENR2 Building (see picture above for better location information).
