Jim Wilcox - MS-GIST Student is now a Geospatial Analyst for Statistical Research, Inc.

MS-GIST student Jim Wilcox recently landed a position as a Geospatial Analyst for Statistical Research, Inc.

From Jim:

I am a Geospatial Analyst working for Statistical Research, Inc. My duties are digitizing and preparing cultural resources impact maps as well as updating metadata from current and past (legacy) archaeological survey reports for Arizona Army National Guard projects and installations. My GIS team works with Arizona Department of Emergency Management and Military Affairs (AZDEMA) officials to ensure they are in compliance with state and federal regulations regarding the protection of cultural resources.

In regards to the the UA MS-GIST program Jim had this to say:

The MS-GIST program definitely prepared me well for my duties here. I have already recommended the program to some of my archaeologist friends who are looking to branch out.
