As of May 19, 2014, MSGIST alum Ken Richards is the new GIS Coordinator for Iron County, UT! Ken works with the Iron County Information Technology Systems department to keep the county's geospatial data up-to-date. He is also working on ways to make collection and access to the county's databases as easy as possible for county employees and residents, and will be working with the emergency responders to help them improve response times by providing and streamlining the the geospatial databases they use when they receive a call.
