Melinda Brown, a 2015 graduate from the Master's in GIS Technology at the University of Arizona, has accepted a position with GIS software and solutions company Esri. 

Melinda will be operating as a Desktop Support Analyst at Esri's regional office in Charlotte, North Carolina, and will be providing technical support to ArcGIS for Desktop and ArcGIS Online users. She will be charged with diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving various issues that users confront as they utilize these components of Esri software.

We take great pride in announcing Melinda's hire, and we know that she is going to do a absolutely wonderful job in her new role at Esri. This is an exciting time for Melinda, and also for our program: it is so great to see students graduate from the MS-GIST Program and move forward to accomplish great things!

Melinda's hire also marks the 15th student from our program to land employment with Esri, and she won't be the last!
