Matt Berube, MS-GIST Alumni 2011, Lands Job with City of Tucson as a GIS Planner

Matt Berube, Masters of Science in Geographic Information Systems Technology 2011 alumni, has been hired by the City of Tucson as a GIS Planner.  He will be working with the Planning and Community Development Division's Planning Section. Under general direction of a Principal Planner, Matt is responsible for creating GIS data from source documents; creating and maintaining GIS information using GIS software; and producing presentation-quality GIS-derived map products in support of department projects in both electronic and printed formats. Matt's position will provide customer service by responding to information requests and assisting in research and analysis of urban issues.
