MS-GIST Grad Sara Sillars' Work Adopted by ADOT

Oct. 7, 2013

The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) recently adopted the work of a recent graduate of the MS-GIST Program.  Sara Sillars did her Master's Project for the MS-GIST Program as part of an internship with the Sky Island Alliance.  She worked with them to develop a series of wildlife corridors using GIS analysis.  The work was done in response to a request from ADOT for input on how to incorporate safe wildlife crossings into the redesign of Interstate 10 in Arizona.  It's fantastic to see a Master's Project being utilized for decision-making.  Congratulations, Sara.
