MS-GIST Graduate Jacob Hauptman from the class of 2013 recently accepted a position with the Geomatics and Geophysical Department of Devon Energy Corp in Oklahoma City, OK.  Jacob will be providing GIS support to geologists and geophysicists in the department, documenting and examining the potential and observed effects of oil and gas development and exploration for onshore drilling in the Midwest, maintaining data products for input to web mapping applications, performing quality control of the seismic data used for the exploration process, and improving data quality.  He will start on March 10.  Jacob also earned his undergraduate degree in the School of Geography and Development.  Congratulations Jacob!
