The Masters of Science in Geographic Information Systems Technology program, Dr. Chris Lukinbeal, was asked recently to make a video explaining how the MS-GIST program compares to more traditional U.S. master’s programs. The video produced is part of work Dr. Lukinbeal and Dr. Janice Monk are doing with the Associatoin of American Geographers' EDGE project and was submitted as a case study for the Learning from International Practice (LFIP) section of the Scottish based, Enhancement Themes research group. Enhancement Themes is examining the meaning of “masterness” and the taught postgraduate student experience. More YouTube videos related to the MS-GIST program will be coming soon.
