MS-GIST Program Welcomes Talbot Brooks, President of the Geospatial Information & Technology Association

The MS-GIST Program hosted Talbot Brooks, President of the Geospatial Information & Technology Association and Director of the Center for Interdisciplinary Geospatial Information Technology at Delta State University, for two days in Tucson.  On September 5th, Talbot came to class and spoke to students about the future of the geospatial industry.  On Friday the 6th, the graduate students of the School of Geography and Development hosted him for a pizza lunch.  This was followed by the Geography colloquium that was co-sponsored by the Arizona Chapter of the Geospatial Information & Technology Association and the Pima GIS Coop.  Talbot's colloquium talk will be posted to the MS-GIST YouTube channel in the near future.
