MS-GIST Student Eric Harrison Starts a New GIS Position at CMA in Boston

MS-GIST 2018 - 2019 student Eric Harrison has landed a new position as a Senior GIS Analyst with CMA Strategy Consulting located in Boston, Massachusetts. CMA is a telecommunications company and Eric translates requests to make maps and automate GIS functions using Python and SQL. Eric is working on multiple projects servicing spatial data queries and coordinating with outside GIS contractors.
When asked about how the MS-GIST program prepared him for his GIS career he said “I can credit the GIST program with completely changing my life, giving me the skills and credentials to land a position making more than I ever have before. I’m just filled with a lot of gratitude and excitement. This is a great job in a great town and GIST program made this possible for me”.
