Rachael Cushman's Cartography Featured in UA Textbook

Just as we take pleasure in announcing when students and alumni land new positions on the open market, we like to publicize occasions when their hard work is included in apps, news stories, or other publications. In this case, we extend a warm congratulations to 2015 MS-GIST graduate Rachael Cushman, as her cartography is featured in a recently published textbook being used here at the University of Arizona. The textbook, entitled "The Course of Mexican Music", is being utilized for a course offering in the UA Fred Fox School of Music.

Just as the students must know the changes in music stylings that have occurred in Mexican history, they must have a clear picture of Mexico's geography to understand how it has played a part in an ever-morphing music landscape. Well done, and congratulations, Rachael. We are proud of your contributions to this textbook!
