Two MS-GIST Students are Selected for the Esri User Conference Student Assistantship Program

Michele Tartaglia and Balaji Viswanathan, both graduate students in the Masters of Science in Geographic Information Systems Technology program, have been selected for the Esri User Conference Student Assistantship Program. Students recieve full conference registration and lodging.  According to Micheal Johnson, Esri University Programs Manager, "The 2013 applicant pool was the largest I've seen in my 6 years of managing the Esri User Conference Student Assistantship Program. The program continues to grow, and we selected 60 students from around the world to participate in 2013. Attending the conference as a student assistant has proven to be an incredible networking opportunity for students, and oftentimes an eye-opener into GIS and opportunities in the industry."
