I recently had the opportunity to guest host a podcast episode about GIS in academic libraries. I interviewed colleagues at UC Davis Library and Auraria Library (UC Denver). We talk about all the reasons we love libraries, the important role that libraries play in supporting GIS users on campus, and why open source and collaborative learning communities are a great fit for GIS and for libraries.
