Brian Thaxton (MS-GIST alumni 2012) and Sara Sillars (MS-GIST alumni 2012) are now working as Geospatial Database Administrators for CACI, a company that provides solutions and services in support of national security missions and government transformation for Intelligence, Defense, and Federal Civilian customers. Their team is tasked with developing 3D simulation training environments for the US Special Operations Command. They produce culture data of landscape features, build models, and QC data using NGA GAIT, and support production of visual products for FSI Vital9 & Vital10, JSAF, OneSAF, JFPL, and VBS2/3 terrain databases using GEOINT data and software packages.  It was completely by coincidence that they intersected in the geospatial industry showing just how far the WIldcat connections reach.
