Introduction to QGIS – Friday April 21st, 2pm to 4pm
QGIS is the leading open-source GIS desktop software platform available for Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.  Used around the world, this fully featured, robust desktop software package provides a host of features and capabilities to help you in analysis and in creating maps. In this two-hour sessions, we will introduce QGIS, its layout, and capabilities, and walk through some common GIS tasks.  For this workshop, it is requested that users bring their own laptop with QGIS already installed.  The installation software can be downloaded at the link below.
