A story map for the University of Arizona's Project NAVIGATE was created by alumnus, Alex Ruff, MS-GIST alumnus 2017.  This project helps ROTC students who are unfamiliar with GIS and Remote Sensing understand how these technologies can help them in their future military careers. Our veteran students and mentors bring their military experience to the classroom and really add to this contextualized course.

This story map describes the Office of Naval Research project. This story map contains media from the introductory courses designed for ROTC students, the innovative land navigation competition, and the student-veteran mentoring component.
