After living in Tucson and working for WSA, Inc. archaeological consultants for almost 8 years, Trevor Self, 2011 MS-GIST alumnus, has been hired as a GIS Analyst and Technical Illustrator at the San Jose office of Fehr and Peers, Inc., a transportation consulting firm. He will be performing GIS analysis for transportation logistics, traffic studies, and bike lane and public transportation impacts, as well as creating maps and graphics for technical reports and public presentations. "I'm excited to work with new types of data and use GIS in a completely different field. I'm going to learn a lot," he said. His position is also part of the Visual Communications department at Fehr and Peers. As such, he'll be working remotely with other graphics specialists in the 13 other offices to standardize graphics templates across all reports and fill in where needed.  Congratulations, Trevor!
